Provincial government building reception desk: weekdays from 08.00 to 18.00 hrs
Provincial administration: weekdays from 09.00 to 17.00 hrs
The provincial government building is located in a low-emission zone (LEZ), indicated by a road sign. The admission requirements also apply to foreign-registered vehicles. Vehicles that are compliant with the requirements of the LEZ must complete one-off registration to be able to access the LEZ. More information is provided on the Smart ways to Antwerp website.
Accessibility
The provincial building is wheelchair accessible.
A parking space in the underground parking area can be reserved in advance through the person or service you are visiting. Please note that LPG vehicles are not permitted, CNG vehicles are permitted. Wheelchair users may request assistance from security or the reception. An intercom is available and the telephone number is displayed on site. If you inform us of your arrival beforehand, we can make prior arrangements.
Parking
The number of parking spaces available for cars in our underground parking area is limited. Use public transport or cycle where possible. If you do arrive by car, park nearby or reserve a space in our parking area in advance through the person or service you are visiting.
There are several Park and Ride car parks on the outskirts of the city from where you can take the tram directly to the provincial building. More information is provided on the Smart ways to Antwerp website.
By bicycle
The provincial building is easy to reach from the city, the outskirts and Antwerp railway stations by bicycle. There is bicycle storage next to the provincial government building. There is also underground bicycle parking, with an entrance on Koningin Elisabethlei. Once you have parked your bicycle, use the stairs with the low steps (next to the entrance to the parking) to go outside and walk to the entrance of the government building.
By train, bus and tram
The Antwerp-Central and Antwerp-Berchem railway stations are located nearby. Several bus and tram lines have stops close to the provincial building.
